Southco’s New Mini Slide Latch Meets Limited Space Requirements

Southco's new mini slide latch meets limited space requirements and can accommodate smaller applications where standard-sized latches will not fit. This new low profile latch is part of Southco's popular A3 latch series and features slide-to-open, push-to-close functionality as well as a UL94-HB or UL94-V0 flammability rating.

All of Southco's A3 series molded-plastic slide latches provide a low installed cost, plus convenient installation and operation, with differences in the size and grip style of each latch designed to suit individual applications. All offer snap-in installation in a single rectangular hole, and all use a simple sliding action to open.

Available Options

• Large-size (Series 99) flush style slide latch is available with a deeper cup for better finger grip
• Locking style latches offer up to 50 different keycode options

Standards and Specifications

• Flammability Rating: UL94-HB or UL94-V0, according to style
• Maximum working loads vary by product style and size, from 25 N (5 lbs.) to 220 N 50 lbs.)
